Just as film framed my imagination, my Latin heritage and family experiences gave me a foundation of color, symbolism, and resilience that continue to fuel my work. My paintings fuse these influences—cinema, culture, and lived memory—into bold, graphic-based compositions. Though my aesthetic reflects the precision of printmaking, each original painting is created entirely by hand, no stencils and no digital applications; just an analog process that underscores both discipline and intimacy. With roots in screen printing, I use layered color fields, stark contrasts, and striking imagery to hold a moment in time. At once personal and universal, my work reimagines familiar iconography as reflections on identity, belonging, and the cultural narratives that shape us.

As a lifelong cinephile, I was shaped by childhood hours spent entranced by movies and the storytelling of my favorite directors.
