Armar

Armar is a collage series built entirely from vintage paper sources—magazines, books, and archival print materials whose very textures carry history. Through layered compositions of women and feminine iconography, the series reclaims imagery that once framed women as fragile or ornamental, reframing it instead as a testament to resilience and power. By reconstructing the past with its own materials, Armar honors the enduring strength of women throughout time while challenging the narratives that sought to contain them.
